2011 Recap

 

This year the fishing was even better than last year, especially during October and November.  The average during these months was close to 15 fish per 1/2 day trip.  About 1 out of 3 trips saw scores in the 20's or 30's.

Can't wait until the stripers show up in the Spring!

Reports from last Fall (2010) ...  

 

The stripers are back.  The fishing started late this year with late October and early November providing the best fishing in years.  Trips are averaging 2 to 10 fish, sometimes more.  Mostly schoolies in the 2 to 5# range with occasional larger fish.

 

 

Update ... as of November 10th the fishing remains good.  A slow day would be 3 to 5 fish.  A good day like today 15 to 20.  The stripers are just in from the ocean ... beautiful and full of spunk.  Most trips are producing at least one fish in the 6 to 12# range.
