Below is the report from last Fall.  As soon as the stripers show this Spring, I will post an updated report.

The stripers are back.  The fishing started late this year with late October and early November providing the best fishing in years.  Trips are averaging 2 to 10 fish, sometimes more.  Mostly schoolies in the 2 to 5# range with occasional larger fish.

I will continue guiding into November as long as good numbers of bass remain in the bay.

Update ... as of November 10th the fishing remains good.  A slow day would be 3 to 5 fish.  A good day like today 15 to 20.  The stripers are just in from the ocean ... beautiful and full of spunk.  Many trips are producing at least one fish in the 6 to 12# range.

Update ... as of November 16th the fishing has slowed considerably.  It appears most of the bass that were in the middle bay have headed for the delta.  I will continue fishing to see if more fish come into the bay from the ocean.  That may be the end of the main run for this year.  It was great to enjoy good fishing for almost a month.  Looking forward to next year!
